House robbery and murder at Parktown North

PARKTOWN NORTH – The helper immediately contacted Parkview police and a case of house robbery and murder has been opened.

 

Parkview police are currently investigating a case of house robbery and murder that took place in Parktown North.

According to Parkview Police Station spokesperson, Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, a domestic worker entered the owner’s bedroom (the door was not closed) on 29 October at about 8.15am.

“The helper noticed her employer lying in the shower. The 62-year-old woman was lying on her back with her hands and legs tied with a cloth. The bedroom was ransacked and it is alleged that jewellery was stolen,” said Sibeko.

The helper immediately contacted Parkview police and a case of house robbery and murder was opened.

An investigation is ongoing.
