Orchestra celebrates late Albertina Sisulu
PARKTOWN – Everyone is invited to see musicians pay homage to the late Albertina Sisulu in Parktown with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra leading the way.
The 2018 Spring Season of The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra (JPO) aims to celebrate the life and struggle of the late Albertina Sisulu.
The event will see musicians paying homage through their performance of the acclaimed South African composer, Bongani Ndodana-Breen’s Ma Sisulu Sinfonia.
The two-part evening will also see the performance of the joint orchestras from both Johannesburg and KwaZulu-Natal.
Start and date: 24 and 25 October 2018
Time: Two sessions from 8pm to 10.30pm for both days.
