Rotary Arts Festival–It’s a wrap!

With hundreds of adept works of art, interactive workshops and demos found throughout the mall, visitors could not resist admiring the exquisite artworks or participating in the creative happenings.

The Rotary Arts Festival has come to a glorious finale. For the last two weeks, shopgoers and festival attendees experienced a constant flurry of art eccentrics making their way through the corridors of Rosebank Mall.

With hundreds of adept works of art, interactive workshops and demos found throughout the mall, visitors could not resist admiring the exquisite artworks or participating in the creative happenings.

Joan Sainsbury of the Rotary Club of Rosebank affirmed, “The festival started with a bang, with big buyers coming in early to purchase multiple pieces of art and browse the aisles of the mall. The turnout was excellent throughout the course of the festival, and the themed workshops experienced numerous participants. We can definitely expect a whole lot more for the next one.”

Artists Catriona Harding and Luiza Klimkiewicz both described the festival and the workshops even they attended, “There was definitely a large footfall within the mall during the festival, with visitors coming in with definite intention to buy. A lot of attendees participated in the workshops as did we.

“The workshops were great as they allowed artists as well as visitors to experience new techniques, and what was amazing was that the artists were willing to share their secrets with participants, the festival in its entirety has provided anyone with access to art and its culture.”

President of the Rosebank Rotary Club Lyn Collocott added, “The Rotary Club of Rosebank would like to express our sincerest appreciation for the support the Rosebank Killarney Gazette and all other partners have displayed over the course of the festival.”
