Kingsmead College learners visit Caxton’s Joburg North Branch – Take a girl child to work day

CRAIGHALL – Caxton invited two Kingsmead College learners and a further six learners from other schools in the Joburg North area to learn about the day-to-day work of this media house.

Caxton Local Media’s Joburg North Branch was buzzing with excitement on 24 May as schoolgirls from Kingsmead College, Fourways High School, Midrand High School and Liberty College spent a day with the newsroom team as part of the ‘Take a girl child to work day’ initiative.

The schoolgirls explored the branch to learn how the media house operates and ended the day with a ceremony where each schoolgirl received a certificate of attendance. This newsroom hosted the day as part of the Caxton Cares initiative.
