Evidence found to support racism complaints against four Parktown Boys teachers

PARKTOWN – This was revealed by Panyaza Lesufi, the Education MEC, during his visit to Parktown Boys High School last night to give feedback on the investigation into allegations of learner victimisation at the school.

Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, said there was evidence to support complaints of racism levelled against four of nine Parktown Boys teachers.

The teachers concerned have been suspended and one has resigned, the MEC said. It was further found that a bar on the campus and the hostel were identified as main problems.

These findings are part of an investigation into allegations of learner victimisation at Parktown Boys High School.
Lesufi visited the school yesterday evening, 12 April, to share the findings of the report.
