City Power writes …
City Power has experienced a power loss at the Cydna and Rosebank substations affecting several areas in the north east of Johannesburg.
Our technical team is currently on site investigating the cause of the power interruption and also to restore power as soon as is possible.
The areas that have been affected include:
Houghton, Melrose, Oaklands, Illovo, Athol, Kentpark, Birdhaven, Norwood, Killarney, Riviera, Inanda, Bramley, Dunkeld, Hydepark, Rosebank Mall, Saxonwold, Parkwood and Rosebank.
City Power apologizes to all customers who have been inconvenienced by the power interruption and will do everything in its power to restore electricity to the affected areas as soon as is possible.
We will continue to update customers about the power restoration process as and when the information becomes available.
