Collect resident stickers for Saxonwold and Parkwood before Jazz on the Lake

PARKWOOD – Get your resident stickers for Jazz on the Lake on 30 July from Fearnhead Park.

Saxonwold and Parkwood Residents Association (Sapra) will host another event at Fearnhead Park situated between Dudley and Blandford Roads in Parkwood on 30 July.

The event will be held from 10 am to 12.30pm to issue resident stickers to those residents who do not have one and could not collect them earlier this year from the first event held for collection.

This will be the last opportunity to get your stickers before the scheduled Jazz on the Lake concert on 3 September. The City barricades off roads in the vicinity of Zoo Lake including those under the association and Metro police are instructed to prevent any non-resident motorists from entering the suburbs.

You will need to show your sticker to prove that you are a resident of the suburbs.

The association wants to ensure that all stickers are given to bona fide residents in the suburbs. Unfortunately, this has not happened satisfactorily in the past.

“So, unfortunately, we are unable to issue a sticker if we are unable to match the applicants for these stickers to our database. We appeal to all residents to please check your details or register before coming to Fearnhead Park. To do this please go onto the www.sapra.org.za, log on, and, if necessary, make the necessary changes to bring it up to date,” said Tracy Davies from Sapra.

Residents are required to bring along proof of residence and people who are renting would need to provide a letter from the owner of the property they reside in, in order to receive a sticker.

All contact details will need to be verified for the database unless this has already been done, so make sure that all this information is available at the time of collecting.
