Pridwin Prep old boys reunion
MELROSE – Old boys to host a reunion open to past pupils, parents and teachers.
Pridwin Preparatory School Old Boys Association will host a reunion at their club house, Cappies, in Melrose on 27 October.
According to Paul Davis, the school’s chairperson, the association was formed with an objective to preserve the history of Pridwin through continued contact with the old boys. In addition, it provides the old boys a social opportunity to stay connected with the school and with each other via various social networking platforms. Every month the old boys get together at the Old Boys Club House on the last Thursday of the month.
“As we are now beginning to count down towards our centenary celebrations in 2023, we are making a concerted effort to collate and update the old boy database so that we include as many of the Pridwin family as possible,” read a statement from the association. “In the last couple of months, we have tried to reach out to our old boys via Facebook, our school web page, as well as through individual old boys who presently have a close association with the school. We look forward to including the old boys in the preparations for our centenary.”
The event will start at 6pm and it is open to all past pupils, parents and teachers.
