Parkhurst Clinic Open Day

PARKHURST - The Parkhurst Clinic will host their annual open day on 23 April and health services will be offered for free.

According to sister Hazel Mabulwana of Parkhurst Clinic, the clinic, together with the City Of Johannesburg, will host their annual open day on 23 April, which is set to be filled with healthy activities.

The clinic’s aim is to create awareness of lifestyle diseases from 8am to 1pm at the clinic.

“Please join us in taking care of your health, enjoy the fun and craft stalls,” urged Mabulwana. All members are invited to attend on the day when there will be a 5km fun walk starting at 8.30am at Verity Park. There will also be an array of health screenings available to the public for free. Health screenings, male medical circumcision, blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar tests, pap smears, hearing screening and HIV testing will also be available.

There will also be other stalls such as Herbalife, a vet, Nedbank, City of Johannesburg Rehab Unit, Tranquility, Planet Fitness, Department of Environmental Health, Metro Police, Amigurumi crocheting team, mother and baby groups, Paws for People, Narcotics Anonymous, the Economic Development Department and the National Department of Basic Education in attendance on the day.
