4 men wanted for armed house robbery

PARKVIEW- Parkview police are searching for four armed men who were involved in a house robbery.

The robbery occurred before 7am in Beaufort Avenue in Craighall Park on 22 July.

According to Parkview police spokesperson, Sergeant Lloyd Ramovha, a case of house robbery has been opened and is currently under investigation.

He said the victim’s wife drove out of the property, and before the gate had closed completely, one male got out of a stationary white Toyota Corolla and slipped through the gate and stopped it from closing properly.

Two other men who were in the vehicle then joined him and entered the property. The driver remained behind in the vehicle.

The three men then entered the house, allegedly threatening the husband, domestic worker and children with firearms. They then ransacked the house and took several household items, including TVs, jewellery and laptops and fled the scene shortly afterwards.

The vehicle had false registration plates. No arrests have yet been made.

Parkview police are appealing to anyone who might have information to come forward.
