WATCH: CCTV footage of Telkom’s executive manager held at gunpoint in Craighall
CRAIGHALL - THE CCTV video footage of Telkom’s executive manager Jacqui O’ Sullivan being held up at gunpoint at her home in Craighall on 4 June has been forwarded to the Rosebank Killarney Gazette.
O’ Sullivan’s husband, David made the footage available. “I am completely frustrated, no matter what you do there is always crime,” he said.
“The sad part is that people buy those stolen goods with no regard that a life was put in jeopardy when obtaining those goods.
“I believe that it is up to us as citizens to take responsibility and not buy stolen goods because, by doing so, you’re also contributing to crime. We need to be ethical and have some moral sense as a nation.”

O’Sullivan had just fetched her four-year-old son from school when three armed men in a white BMW pulled up in her driveway.
She said she had noticed a suspicious BMW near her gate. Her son was in the backseat of her vehicle. The incident was recorded on the home’s security cameras.

ADT district manager Inland Region, David Myers said, “The suspects have not yet been apprehended, police are investigating the incident.
“ADT reaction officers arrived on the scene within four minutes from the time the panic signal was received.”
The police were working on a lead, Myers said.

This is the second time O’Sullivan has been robbed at her home in Craighall. The first robbery took place 18 months ago.
Since the first robbery the O’Sullivan staff were given panic buttons. The handyman at the house who saw the robbery taking place, pressed his button which set off the house alarm.
The robbers managed to flee the scene with O’Sullivan’s watch, ring and earrings.
