Chanté; the culture vulture

Chanté is a Jenny of all trades.

Chanté Joubert participated and represented Crawford International Ruimsig at the Speech & Drama College (SA) – High School Public Speaking Festival on March 1. She delivered a prepared speech on load-shedding and an unprepared speech on the topic: May the Force be with you. The event was held at Northcliff High.

Chanté exclaimed that it was an excellent experience and she was thrilled to listen to the other participants’ speeches. She received an A symbol award for her speeches.

Thereafter, during the holiday, on March 24, she participated in NEA Young Performers Awards Competition. Chanté was selected for four different events: Afrikaans Public Speaking with a prepared speech, English Public Speaking with a prepared speech, and Vocals in the pop music category as well as the country music category.
