How to craft a hedgehog out of sunflower seeds

Kids can also practise their 1, 2, and 3s by counting the number of steps in the instructions or gathering the correct number of components for their chosen project.

Here’s how to create a cute hedgehog-themed craft with your little ones!
What you need
- Clay for modelling
- Clay tools
- Scissors (for cutting clay pieces)
- Some sunflower seeds
- Some nuts
- Craft Glue
How to make it
- Help your children to shape the clay into the form of a teardrop, and then have them stick sunflower seeds all over the surface.
- Put some nuts on top to look like eyes and a nose.
- Allow to air dry for the night.
