Details on how the driver lost control are unknown

Six people were injured when a vehicle crashed into pedestrians and parked cars outside a school on February 15.

The light motor vehicle struck three boys and three adults as well as several vehicles at the corner of Liebenberg Street and Yolande Drive. Paramedics arrived on scene at roughly 07:30 to assess the injured, finding that three adults and three boys had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.

“The patients were treated for their injuries, and four were later transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. A mother and her son went to a nearby hospital privately. The details surrounding this incident are unknown,” stated ER24 Communications Officer, Russel Meiring.
