Jozi Tese Festival Launch attracts big names

The launch was well attended with South African soccer legend, Doctor Khumalo making an appearance in support of the event.

The evening of Thursday 7 November saw a glamorous Jozi Tese Festival Media launch take place at the prestigious Lush Lounge in Featherbrooke Village Shopping Centre in Ruimsig.

The media and members of the community were given some insight into the high-class and VIP elements of the upcoming event with live music and a variety of food and drinks.

The host for the evening was actor and presenter, Gift Sebiloane, who kept the crowd on their feet and had his sense of humour encourage great interaction throughout the evening.

The live music from Jazzy Soul and friends left everybody filled with a never-ending musical desire that transformed the mood into a pleasurable musical mist.

A few people of prominence graced the event with their presence and just added to the classy set-up at one of the top hang-outs on the West Rand.

Director and Founder, Tshepo Riba said, “We have adopted the theme of no violence against women and children. We want the West Rand to champion this fight and show the rest of the country how it is done.”

Jozi Tese Ambassador, Zamo Dlamini, who is one of the featured performers for the main event in Ruimsig Stadium on 30 November 2019, sang a few songs which saw a quick population of the dance floor.
