RLT Production is taking you ‘over the rainbow’ at Roodepoort Theatre

There will be four shows for everyone to enjoy.

Roodepoort Little Theatre (RLT Productions) has been entertaining local theatre lovers since 1950 and this month they present their second season of the year at the Roodepoort Basement Theatre.

Taking you ‘over the rainbow’ from tropical islands to the gates of heaven, from the horror of alien invasions to the perplexing mystery of Santa’s missing cookies, RLT Productions returns to the Roodepoort Basement Theatre, at 100 Christiaan de Wet Road, Florida Park, on 15, 16, 22, and 23 November for another season of showcasing.

The cast, ranging in age from seven to seventy, includes long-time audience favourites Karen Zaal, Stephen Slade, Sheila Smith, Heather Kruger, Graham Shirley, Oriela van der Walt, Hannah Jordaan and Caitlyn Livesy, joined by super-talented newcomers Andrew Palmer and Mary Devine.

And if you thought the feel-good spirit couldn’t soar any higher, the RLT Improvistas improve comedy team, featuring Nadiem Solomon, Sylvia Nikolaoy, Oriela van der Walt and Graham Shirley, will certainly have you rolling in the aisles by the time the final curtain falls.

The shows will take place on Friday 15 and 22 November from 7.30pm, and on Saturday 16 and 23 November at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Ticket prices will vary from R100 per adult and R80 for pensioners, students and scholars.
