Three Sisters take over Silverstar

Drie Susters is a must-see performance following three sisters dealing with the challenges of relationships, marriage, and motherhood.

The Barnyard at Silverstar will be hosting a proudly South African show starring three talented actresses. Drie Susters stars Lizz Meiring, Margrit Meyer-Rödenbeck, and Nicole Holm, who bring Louis Pretorius’ work to life.

Directed by Tara Notcutt, the performance follows three sisters (Christine, Anel, and Bianca) as they face the challenges of relationships, marriage, and motherhood.

The three sisters are stuck at an airport after their flight to Thailand was delayed. Christine received the tickets as a gift from her twin sisters for her 50th birthday. While she hopes the trip will provide her with the break she desperately craves, she also has a little bit of anger towards the twins for this particular gift. She knows they are family, but they know she is terrified of flying.

The sisters pass the time until their next flight with card games, cappuccinos, and razor-sharp tongues. Life choices and old mistakes get dug up, and to make matters worse, Christine’s pre-flight tranquilisers are kicking in and Bianca is convinced she has spotted their lost mother.

Drama and humour work together to make this a must-see performance. The play will be performed at Silverstar on 16 November at 8pm (doors open at 7pm). Tickets are being sold at R180 for adults, R160 for children, and can be purchased from https://itickets.co.za/events/410044.
