30 years of BMW Early Learning Centre
The Early Learning Centre recently saw its 2000th student enrol since its opening 30 years ago at the BMW Group Rosslyn Plant.
The school which has made a huge impact on the BMW community in Rosslyn and Soshanguve recently celebrated its 30 year anniversary. The celebrations recently held at the facilities cements BMW Group SA’s commitment to the education of the Rosslyn and Soshanguve communities and Rosslyn plant associates. As part of the occasion, BMW Group SA created a short film to highlight the impact the Early Learning Centre has.
BMW recently invested R73 million into a BMW Training Academy located at the Rosslyn plant. April 2019 the Midrand head office saw the addition of an R109 million, Dealer Training Centre focused on supporting dealer network partners. Continuing its support of education, training and skills development in South Africa, BMW recently upgraded the Ntsha-Peu Primary School facilities in Soshanguve which forms part of 144 schools the company has supported. BMW is also donating 20 BMW X3 vehicles to schools, universities and automotive schools around the country with the first being Soshanguve Automotive School of Specialisation.

“The ELC has helped many young children go onto have successful school careers and lives. This year we welcomed our 2000th child,” Ms Rachael Naidoo, Principal of the ELC.
