Puma Energy to sponsor Flying Lions aerobatic team

JOBURG – Puma Energy to sponsor the Flying Lions aerobatic team.

World-class and death-defying aerobatic stunts will be the drawcard when Puma Energy launches its sponsorship of the Flying Lions at the Rand Airport in Germiston, south-east of Johannesburg on 5 May.

The Flying Lions are South Africa’s premiere aerobatic team and will celebrate their new sponsorship with a low fly-by and aerobatic display in their Harvard aircraft newly branded in Puma Energy colours.

The four-pilot team are the major draw-card at air- and trade shows across South Africa and fly four decommissioned aircrafts from the South African Air Force.

They also perform their breath-taking synchronised aerobatic displays in neighbouring countries such as Botswana and Namibia.

In addition to providing a thrilling visual experience, these displays test the pilot’s skills and aircraft to the limit.

The Flying Lions also raise awareness of the importance of excellence in the field of aeronautics and inspire both young and old with their world-class and death-defying aviation precision.

Puma Energy, as the new official sponsor of the Flying Lions team, will announce its detailed future plans for the Flying Lions, who are set to reach exciting new heights with the new sponsor.

The Lions’ first show in the colours of their new sponsor will be a performance at the Swartkops Air Show in Pretoria on 6 May.
