The DA and Cope are expected to protest outside the SABC this morning (3 October) against former COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng, who was recently appointed as the broadcaster’s group executive of corporate affairs.
News24 has reported that DA leader, Mmusi Maimane, and Cope leader, Mosiuoa Lekota, will lead their members to the public broadcaster.
This comes after Motsoeneng’s failed bid for leave to appeal, by the Supreme Court of Appeal, against a High Court ruling in November last year, that declared his appointment as COO irrational.
