So sad he only speaks out now

It is sad that documents cannot be given to Councillor Dewes, dating back to 2012 when the 3 shift system was put in place at City Power. I am a friend of an ex-employee at City Power, and the horror stories that came out from that time were just voiced by a councillor!

He doesn’t know the half of it! Maybe he should ask for their internal forum’s documents regarding this issue starting back in 2011, and find out why there had never been a member of the mayoral committee present at those forum meetings. He should find out why the only union who stood up against this implementation has always been side lined, suspended even victimized to the point that the electricians were forced to do an illegal work stoppage in 2013, which resulted in severe blackouts in key areas…..

My friend is one of those skilled electricians who was never replaced when he left to work for a contractor, contracted to City Power, and I doubt his skills will ever be found again.

It is so sad, that Councillor Dewes only now speaks out about the truth. If only you knew Councillor, if only you knew!
