The Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Rocci) hosted a water drive at the Westview Clinic today (8 April).
Their aim is to collect 100 000 litres of water to donate to Sannies Hof in the Free State.
The water collected will be transported tomorrow with the help of Makro Strubens Valley and McCarthys VW Westgate.
The 100 000 litres will be enough for each family to receive 2-litres of water.
Earlier in the year, Rocci collected almost 20000 litres of water at two separate water collection drives.
“The community as well as Rocci members have come to support us and we are expecting even more support from everyone as this is for an important cause,” said Diane Graham from Rocci.
