Welview braai’s for Easter

WELVIEW –Come rain, come shine, ‘ons gaan nou braai’.

Welview Resident’s Association enjoyed a day of sun, fun and getting to know each other.

It was a bring and braai on 12 March just before everyone went off on holiday.

While the adults enjoyed a cold beverage around the roaring fires, children had a blast by decorating their own bunny bags just before they went out collecting Easter eggs.

Some members also came and showed off goods they had for sale — from handbags to cute little fairy houses. A jumping castle was provided and children were surprised by the Lego toys sponsored by a fellow member. Everyone had a chance to go for a ride in their very own patrolling fire engine, which was the cherry on top to end off a great day.

“A big thank you to Londoloza. While we had fun, they were keeping a watchful eye over us, always making us feel so safe,” said chairperson Tana Cope.

Cope continued in saying that, “We have great pleasure in hosting these type of events in order to make our members feel part of a close-knit family and we have many more coming up in 2016.”
