The best part of March is all the public holidays.
Most people use this time for a vacation, which leaves others extremely jealous – at least I am.
The bad part, however, is that journalists are under pressure to continue bringing you the latest news despite all the public holidays. The newspaper has to go to print earlier, which means we have early deadlines and that sometimes confuses the public.
But, do not fear, we will do our utmost best to ensure you receive the latest news.
There is one week left before many travel to their holiday destinations.
To all those lucky people taking a break, please drive safe. There is no need to rush, you will reach your destination as long as you are careful. An hour or so later is really not the end of the world.
To those staying at home, enjoy the few days off. There are many local places you can visit and it will not cost you an arm and a leg.
Whatever you do, take lots of pictures and feel free to share your memories with us and the rest of the community.
