Top model has a successful year

HONEYDEW – Model wins medals for South Africa.

Tommy Lubbe, renowned international campaign model and upcoming film star is eagerly awaiting his immigration visa to fly off to Hollywood. The Honeydew resident was scouted by an international producer/scriptwriter/director to work on an upcoming Lionsgate Alfred Hitchcock Movie, in February next year.

Other upcoming projects such as featuring in a sitcom and music video is also in the pipeline. He had a year full of achievements kicking off with competing at the World Championships of Performing Arts and winning gold medals in several categories such as modelling formal, modelling ramp, modelling photographic, and was crowned the overall winner in modelling.

He flew off to Long Beach California to represent South Africa at the World Championships of Performing Arts where he won a gold medal, two silver medals, two bronze medals and had the honour of being asked by the CEO and co-founder of

International World Championships of Performing Arts to be the MC at the International Showcase Event. This was televised internationally and Top Billing had a feature broadcast at the end of November.

Other endeavours kept him busy such as speaking out against rhino poaching and participating in campaigns – especially those against lion, elephant and rhino poaching.

The year ended in a bang, as Lubbe was asked by Dr Ellen Roux, founder and CEO of South African Association of Performing Arts, and Namibian Association of Performing Arts, to be a judge at the Miss Pre-Teen and Miss Teen SA 2016 pageant where the winner will be travelling to the Miss Teen Pageant in Texas Houston in 2016, to represent SA.
