Waiting for WhatsApp

The Record has had an overwhelming response from readers who wanted to be on our WharsApp contact list.

We are already on our eight groups and keeping up with the requests from more readers who want to join is no easy feat.

Unfortunately, technology is fallible and although we have been struggling to keep up with the requests, bringing the latest news direct to your phone has been a struggle.

Somehow the application, every now and again, just stop working for no apparent reason and it has been very frustrating.

Please continue to send in your request to be added to our contact list, but keep in mind that the news might not reach you every day at the same time.

One thing you can be sure of, however, is that the Record journalists are ensuring that the latest news are on our website on www.roodepoortrecord.co.za every day.
