Students from Margie Wells’ DanceXchange put on a spectacular performance recently at the Roodepoort Theatre.
Under the theme, Colour my World, 132 pupils put their best feet and faces forward to an excited audience. The dance studio presents the show every three years at the theatre.
“The show included performances from different age groups and has different dance styles and choreography. It was very entertaining and an inspiration to the dance community,” said choreographer Jann Bodeker.
The studio, based in Blackheath specialises in modern dance, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop and Latin American, catering for every dancer or just a fun and healthy gateway for young children.
The studio was established in 1980 by Margie Wells, who has danced professionally for both local and international audiences.
