The Roodepoort record had an amazing month with more than 250 000 page views.
This is a record number of views in one month and I am very excited to better the number in the next month.
This proofs once again that more and more people are reading news online and they want to read the news immediately and not wait for the next edition to be printed.
To make our website even more user friendly, we have added national and international news, thus giving you, the readers national and international news immediately available. You also have to option to comment on the news.

The journalists are working very hard to make sure that the articles that are posted contains the correct facts, as correct as they can be given that we receive the information from either the police of emergency services.

The load shedding schedules have been very confusing lately and although some of the readers blame the record for not getting the facts straight, please keep in mind that we receive the information from the municipality or Eskom and we cannot go against their statements.
