Buzz is a performing arts organisation that seeks to nurture children’s development through dance, drama and singing.
Over the past two years hundreds of children from across Gauteng have experienced the growth in confidence, coordination and creativity through Buzz’s programmes.
Buzz showcased its talent and enthusiasm through a brilliant high-energy performance at its dance studio in Honeydew Shopping Centre on 6 December.
The event included unique Buzz Outer Space Adventure, complete with its unique characters like Scotty the Spaceman and the performance of original Buzz music – used in song and dance.
All music, choreography, characters and adventure are created by and unique to Buzz.
The fun and interactive performances involved all the children in the group – the shows are really ensemble performances with every last child getting a chance to shine while having fun.
”It was a huge success – friends and family reported that they loved it,” says Hanneke Rauch.
The 30-minute show included poems, songs and dance, all original Buzz material and tell the story of Scotty the Spaceman and other characters from outer space.
Scotty challenges the children, ”to come with him in his super cool Rock-Out-Rocketship through outer space to STOP the villianous Galliumina) from flying her gas guzzling smokey smelly Gas-O-Thron 3 000 around.”
