The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug – Opens 13 December

The second film in The Hobbit trilogy based on JRR Tolkien’s novel sees Bilbo travelling with the wizard Gandalf and thirteen dwarves. They are led by Thorin Oakenshield on an epic quest to reclaim the lost dwarf kingdom of Erebor. Starring Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, and Orlando Bloom.

Alison Moyet live – 13 and 14 December

The iconic 80s singer performs at Emperor’s Palace this weekend. The electro pop diva will perform hits spanning her 28-year career, tracks from her 80s band Yazoo as well as from her new album, The Minutes.
