Raymond Martin, ANC Zone 5 Communications (email): Finally Roodepoort has caught the Flu called name changing. We are sad though that this process has taken so long in our Town.

RATHER LATE THAN NEVER.

We know that name changing is an emotive subject but honestly speaking it is absolutely necessary.

Street Name changing presents us with an opportunity to eliminate symbols of the painful past and reflect the the kind of community that we all espouse to live in.

Communities United in purpose, fighting the common evils of Poverty, Unemployment, Crime and Illiteracy. Communities that all of us ( both Black and White) can genuinely call home. Read further here.
