Riders gallop to victory at equestrian awards

Glover Paddocks riders dominated the Sanesa West Annual Awards, taking home top honours and medals for their spectacular display of equestrian excellence.

Glover Paddocks has once again proven its reputation as a breeding ground for equestrian talent, with its riders achieving outstanding results at the Annual Sanesa Gauteng West Equestrian Awards held at Usambara Lodge in August.

After months of dominating both nationally and internationally, the evening belonged to Glover Paddocks, with Tyla Booysen and Emily Loubser taking top honours as the overall Primary School and High School Top Achiever awards.

The prestigious equestrian club had an impressive four riders placing in the top 10, with 17 medals awarded to their riders. Their medal tally included seven gold medals, three silver medals and three bronze medals, solidifying their position as a formidable force in the equestrian world.

Kerryn Maher, owner and head instructor of Glover Paddocks, congratulated the talented riders and expressed how hard they pushed themselves all year in competitions as well as practices to get this far.

“This is a prime example of how the club invests so much time into making sure the riders receive top-notch training, and we will continue to produce exceptional riders at our club,” Kerryn said.
