24 Seven Gymnastics, Trampoline and Acrobat head coach Luitha Roux has inspired and passed down a wealth of knowledge to two of her young coaches, Jean Claude Roux (JC) and Christo van der Walt.
JC and Christo recently achieved a major milestone in their careers after completing their Acro and Gymnastics Judges Course and passed with flying colours.
JC has completed the Level 2 Acrobat and Gymnastics Judges Course, demonstrating his advanced expertise and commitment to the sport. Meanwhile, Christo has completed the Level 1 course.
The two have been coaching and assisting Luitha for a very long time, with their students not only dominating various local competitions, but they’ve had an opportunity to take their talent nationally when they represented South Africa in a recent cup competition under the leadership and guidance of JC.
Speaking to the Roodepoort Record, Luitha mentioned that this is a great way to get them started in the gymnastics world, not only as judges but as coaches as well.
She added that their club’s mission is to support and empower young and upcoming talent.
