Parkies celebrate 4th place in netball

Roodepark School netball divisions secure second place in LSEN Championships.

With schools closing and all winter sporting activities coming to an end, the Roodepark School ended the season with a bang, with the netball team showing incredible sporting prowess at the Learners with Special Educational Needs Netball Championships.

The championships were held at Hoërskool Randburg on June 9, and three divisions qualified to compete; the U14s, U15s, and U19s.

After a thrilling display of talent and teamwork, all the teams secured fourth place in their respective categories. This commendable achievement highlights the dedication and hard work of the players and their coaches.

According to Nicole Di Barros of the school’s marketing team, this is the first time since 2009 that Roodepark has achieved such incredible results.
