Florida Albion Football Tournament sees all-round wins

The Florida-based football club, FAFC held a football tournament over the weekend of December 2 and 3 which saw impressive performances by players across different categories.

Florida Albion Football Club (FAFC) recently concluded an exhilarating and successful closing tournament, showcasing the talent and dedication of 45 teams spanning various age groups.

The tournament was held over two action-packed days, with December 2 hosting the junior categories – U6/7, U8/9 which included an all-girls Albion team, U10, U11, and U12. The day was filled with exciting matches and a few of the Albion teams progressed to the semi-finals of the divisions, delivering a thrilling experience for all involved.

Sunday saw a commendable performance from Albion’s older age groups – U13, U15, U17, and U19 – who also secured spots in a few of the semi-finals.

The highlight of the tournament was an intense final between FAFC’s U19 team and the formidable Prestige Football Club’s U19 squad.

The game culminated in a gripping penalty shootout which ultimately resulted in a hard-fought victory for Florida Albion. This gripping finale left spectators on the edge of their seats, wrapping up the day with an electrifying win for Albion’s U19 side.
