Personal bests and milestones at 160th Ruimsig parkrun

Many runners keep fit at Ruimsig parkrun while enjoying personal victories and accomplishments.

The 160th Ruimsig parkrun kicked off with new personal bests and milestones.

On Saturday morning, many showed up at the Handicap Road in support of keeping fit. For some, the course was a nice outing with their furry friends, for others a fun run in the fresh morning air.

Fifty runners improved their personal best scores, while 49 completed a milestone, whether it be their 50th or 400th.

Brandon Viljoen came in first place of the men with a time of 18:24 and Lauren Kruger came in first place of the women with a finishing time of 27:17.

There were a further 13 volunteers present, who made the event possible.
