Gauteng Soccer Team impress at National Tournament
With 56 goals scored, the team, of which three members are from Roodepark Primary School, walked away the winners.
Three learners from Roodepark School, who were part of the Gauteng Soccer Team, won gold at the National Tournament.
“These girls showed determination, dedication, and great sportsmanship throughout the season. I am extremely proud of them,” said their coach ??? (ons wag net om die coach se naam en van te confirm)
A total of 56 goals were scored, with none against them.
Keketso Pitso was the top goal scorer of the tournament with a total of 10 goals scored. Celine Thomas scored seven goals and Jaidyn Warney was the goalkeeper.
