Local athlete recognised as Protea athlete

Nadia van Biljon was awarded her official cap and Protea blazer during the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation of South Africa’s (IFBBSA) capping ceremony for the South African team that represented the country at the 2022 World Championships.

Wayne Price, president of the IFBBSA, congratulated each athlete individually and thanked them for representing the country.

“It was one of the proudest moments of my life. I am honoured to be part of such an incredible federation that allows us athletes to compete on the world stage and represent in the green and gold!” exclaimed Nadia.

She stated that they are eagerly awaiting the 2023 World Championship as she was selected to represent South Africa.
