Two wins for Tanika de Meyer at the Fire and Ice Show 2023.
On August 19, De Meyer competed in the show hosted by the International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (IBFF) at Silverstar Casino. Here she walked away with the first prize for both the Gauteng Provincials Bikini Model under 169cm and Fitness Model under 168cm in Gauteng.
“It felt so good participating in my hometown and surroundings. The federation made me feel at home and I want to say thank you to Arnie Williams [IBFF president] and Alan Griezel [Gauteng provincial president] for the welcome and warm hospitality. They truly put up a show and it was pro-level organised,” said De Meyer.
She noted on September 16, she will represent Gauteng at the All Africa Championships at Gold Reef City.
De Meyer concluded, “Reflecting on my fitness journey I must say I am so fortunate and proud to have made it so far in such a short time. I believe that you should always push yourself to achieve. I am excited and working hard while enjoying the journey.”
