Allen Glen High School’s rugby team receive new kit for the 2023 season

BCI Security continues its grassroots support with title sponsorship.

A champion team needs to look the part as they push for back-to-back glory.

On the opening day of their high school rugby season, Allen Glen High School received a ceremonial surprise. Extending their five-year association with the school, BCI Security delivered the branded 2023 season kit to a gracious set of players. The customary royal blue will be accented with a gold and white wing, symbolic of the bird that adorns its crest.

All the age groups from U14 to the First XV received new kits while the coaching staff and principal received jerseys of their own. Allen Glen’s principal, Jane Kruger, thanked BCI Security for their generosity and support, noting the appreciation the players have for being able to pursue their ambitions in style. BCI Secuirty’s Paul Catlett described how this was an extension of their community support, amplifying their commitment to being a positive force in the fight for societal change.

On the field, the opening round of fixtures could not have gone much better. Playing Bracken High School, the U14s eased to a 31-7 win while the U15s raised that to 51-7 in their match. The U16s kept a clean sheet in a 53-0 win, with the First XV doing the same as they notched up 88 points to cap a 223 – 14 aggregate crushing of the boys from the south.
