Charitable fun at the annual Ritmia/ Northsider welfare golf day
Spirits were high and hearts open to ensure another successful golf day.
What do you get when you pair a sunny day, golf carts, beautiful greens and golfers with big hearts? The answer is simple; a recipe for a great charity golf day!
Ruimsig Golf Club was packed with 124 enthusiastic players on August 25, all ready to swing their clubs for a good cause during the annual Northsider/ Ritmia Gemeente Welfare Golf Day.
The air was filled with laughter, light banter and jokes as the teams moved from hole to hole ensuring the day’s purpose – to have fun while also raising funds – was not only achieved, but exceeded.
The day kicked off with a shotgun start and the 31 teams of four players each could not have asked for better weather, which ensured that all 18 holes could be played.
The day would not have been possible without the help of all the sponsors, who ensured all players had a wonderful day on the greens. A huge thanks also goes to the companies who sponsored the prizes for the day.
The day’s activities were concluded with a delicious dinner and prize-giving ceremony, ensuring the fun-filled day was once again a roaring success.
