Entries open for the Heritage Day Absa Run Your City Joburg 10K

According to the organisers, entrants will be treated to a 10km journey that highlights iconic landmarks and features lively performances by a host of Joburg’s leading performing arts groups.

Johannesburg’s largest Heritage Day celebration, the Absa Run Your City Joburg 10K is back and local runners and walkers are in for a treat on Saturday, September 24.

Founded in 2016, the Absa Run Your City Joburg 10K forms part of the award-winning Absa Run Your City Series which currently consists of three iconic mass participation 10km road races:

• Absa Run Your City Cape Town 10k

• Absa Run Your City Durban 10k

• Absa Run Your City Joburg 10k

According to the organisers, entrants will be treated to a 10km journey that highlights iconic landmarks and features lively performances by a host of Joburg’s leading performing arts groups.

A true highlight on the South African running calendar while participants look forward to rubbing shoulders with elite runners both local and from abroad.

When entering the Absa Run Your City Joburg 10k online runners and walkers can choose to support four local charities:

• Reach For A Dream Foundation (RFAD)

• Cotlands

• Johannesburg SPCA

• Johannesburg Heritage Foundation
