Crawford equestrians take centre stage at SANESA Q2

The riders impressed and took several top positions across different categories

Six learners from Crawford International Ruimsig recently participated in the SANESA Gauteng West qualifier 2 (Q2) competition.

Cayleigh Monacan placed first in the 60cm equitation, third in the 70cm competition jumping, and fifth in the 70cm accumulator jumping. Logan Rooza placed third in the 60cm equitation, third in the level 1 Prix Caprilli and fifth in the 60cm ideal time. Rebecca Jones placed fifth in the 50cm ideal time. Nuha Minty came in third in equitation. Aisha Minty came in first in equitation and second in showjumping. Zahra Klasen took second place in equitation, second in showjumping and third in showjumping.

Abigail van Graan who is in charge of Equestrian at the school and her assistant Marelise Lombard congratulated the girls. “The time, effort and hard work that these girls put in this sport are phenomenal.” They said the riders practised very hard and their achievements were proof.
