Team Rage kick-boxers bagged several medals at Great North tournament
All six kick-boxers have been selected to compete in their respective categories at the South African Championships.
Team Rage Kickboxing Club showed off their talented kicks and punches at the annual Great North Tournament from 7 to 8 March.
Six kick-boxers made their club proud and bagged a variety of medals for their efforts. Dyllan Opperman took part in the full contact category where he won a gold medal, the light contact category where he won a silver medal, and in the semi-contact category where he won a bronze medal. Mina Lombaard won a gold medal in the full contact category; Jonny Smit won fourth place; Aslam Limbada won a gold medal in the light-contact and a silver medal in the semi-contact category; Jean van Rensburg won a silver medal in the kick light category; and Tathen van Rensburg won two silver medals in the light and kick-light categories respectively.
All six kick-boxers have been selected to compete in their respective categories at the South African Championships that will take place from 17 to 19 April.
