The visitors launched their attack play from both wings, and the Roodepoort Campus defence found themselves on the back foot, having to defend early in the match.

Roodepoort Campus’ defence started showing some cracks as a result of the constant pressure from the visitors’ wide attackers who provided quality ball to their hit man to score the first goal of the match.

The home side gathered themselves and started distributing the ball to the effective areas on the pitch, with speedy winger Oratile Busang receiving more balls to initiate an attack that led to the home side scoring a well-worked goal.

The match ended with the visitors outplaying the home side and dishing out a football lesson that saw them win the match by a convincing 4–1.

The second match between George Tabor Campus and Dobsonville College saw the two sides take to the field with determination and a second-to-none attitude.

George Tabor were awarded a penalty in the middle of the first half and stayed in the lead for the remainder of a very competitive half, with both sides showing some moments of brilliance.

The Dobsonville College goal keeper kept his side in the game with some impressive acrobatics that stopped their opponents from stretching the lead.

Eventually the floodgates opened and George Tabor scored another three goals to put the game away.

George Tabor’s central defender, Mbali Mthimkhulu kept things tight at the back with his hard tackling and an ability to marshal a highly organised defensive unit.

Technisa College nudged out Molapo College in a tightly contested game that ended 2–1.

The last match between the two home teams, Roodepoort Campus and Roodepoort West provided a lot of entertainment. Roodepoort West had to work hard for their victory over a very stubborn Roodepoort Campus side, and the match ended with Roodepoort West winning 3–1.
