Lux bids Poorte farewell

Former Roto Tank Roodepoort Rugby Club speedster, Luxolo Lux Ntsepe, will be playing his rugby in the colours of Leadhome Pirates Rugby Club this season.

The devastating ball carrier with a deceiving sidestep confirmed to the Northsider that he signed a contract with Pirates on Thursday, 16 January.

Lux said, “It brings me great sadness to bid farewell to Roodepoort. I have learnt a lot from being a part of the team both on and off the field. My teammates became like brothers to me and my Afrikaans improved by 90 per cent. I will be forever grateful.”

The former Griquas and Wits University player expressed his excitement about the journey ahead and wished the Roodepoort boys the very best of luck with their future endeavours and hopes to see them again on the field.
