Free self-defence classes for women

Women will learn how to transform their mindset by unlocking their inner warrior and knowing various self-defence strikes they can use.

Triple Threat Kick Boxing Club in Ruimsig will be offering free self-defence classes at their Dojo every Saturday from 10am to 11am.

The students will be taught an understanding of self-defence and when it can be used, as well as the importance of being aware of your surroundings.

Gym owner Wade Rendal said, “Our dojo is proud to be presenting to the community an initiative for women’s safety and empowerment. It is very important for all women to learn how to defend themselves in our crime-infested country.”

“We will show them certain grappling techniques for self-defence, and simulations of real-life scenarios where you can use these self-defence strikes and techniques,” concluded Wade.

The classes will commence at the beginning of February and are limited to 20 people per class, so bookings are essential.
