The Ruimsig parkrun has posted an announcement on their Facebook page, informing parkrunners that the parkrun on 25 January 2020 will be cancelled due to the Puma Elite athletics event happening at the stadium.
The parkrun will go ahead as planned on 18 January 2020. The organisers are aware of the gates that have been erected and are in the process of changing the route.
According to the organisers the new route should be up and running on 1 February 2020.
Ruimsig parkrun is a free weekly timed event that takes place at 8am every Saturday at Handicap Road, Ruimsig Stadium.
