Panorama U/9s progress despite tough weekend

Panorama's U/9 team managed to earn themselves a spot in the quarterfinals of the Steven Pienaar Tournament, despite playing three games in the space of 16 hours.

Panorama Football Club’s U/9A team really had to bite the bullet on Friday, 18 May and Saturday, 19 May, when they had to play three separate matches in the space of 16 hours.

The team’s tough weekend got under way on the right foot, with a comprehensive league win against Crusaders Football Club on Friday, 18 May.

Next up in the tournament was a match against Argentino’s, on Saturday, 19 May. The team claimed the top spot on the log with a 2–0 victory over Argentino’s, and secured a spot in the quarterfinals in the process.

Directly after the tough game in Westbury, the boys rushed back to their home ground in Radiokop, for a league match against Old Parks Football Club.

They won this match by a convincing margin, making it three out of three.
