Panorama RA’s new committee unveiled

This committee is expected to serve for the next five years, according to Baxter.

 

A new committee seeking to enhance the safety and well-being of the community has been unveiled in Weltevreden Park.

The Panorama Residents’ Association introduced its new committee, which consists of five passionate members who have been tasked to handle different portfolios.

The committee members are Dave Baxter (chairperson), Tracy Hurst (treasurer), Ingrid Reinten (council liaison), Khumbulani Mpofu (social media and IT support) and Rocky le Roux (membership and signage coordinator). This committee is expected to serve for the next five years, according to Baxter.

This association is responsible for the area encompassed by Jim Fouché Road, Hendrik Potgieter Road, Tennis Street and JG Strydom Drive.

The association will work in close partnership with the police, Johannesburg Metro Police, Community Policing Forums and other bodies to achieve and carry out all legal measures deemed necessary to reduce crime.
